Right now we'd like to move on to the quartet part of the show, and, uh, ladies and gentlemen, I hope you'll bring to the stand the Milt Jackson Quartet. Milt? What do you want to do first now? "Thank you, Charlie. Charlie Parker accompanied by the Milt Jackson Quartet, for the past twenty minutes from our live show from Birdland this morning, Broadway and 52nd Street. And right now, it's time to get back to records over at WJZ, New York's first station..." Announcement missing on all issues

Note:

Parker joined the first incarnation of the Modern Jazz Quartet, who would record their first LP for Prestige on December 22.
The longer announcements are from a second master, probably recorded by Chan Richardson. The quality of this recording is considerably better
than that of the issued versions, but the tunes are incomplete: from "How High the Moon,"
the section from 2:55-4:01 (solos by Jackson and Lewis) is missing; and from "Embraceable You," 1:53-2:25 (most of Jackson's solo).
